Concept & Creative Direction

The ad film was built around a narrative in which the **Mahindra Tractor** becomes the hero of an action-packed adventure. The tractor faces off against challenging terrain, speed, and obstacles, with stunt driving and dramatic sequences highlighting its rugged durability and reliability. Alongside this action, the AI-powered selfie feature was introduced as a unique element that made the viewer part of the action, turning them into the "hero" of the film.

Visual Style & Tone:

High-Octane & Dynamic: The ad used fast-paced editing, high-stakes stunt sequences, and dramatic lighting to elevate the intensity of the tractor’s performance.

Tech-Forward and Fun: The AI feature was introduced through an engaging, playful moment in the ad where the viewer could instantly "replace" the actor’s face with theirs by uploading a selfie.

Pre-Production:

The AI feature was seamlessly integrated into the narrative, appearing at a moment of excitement to engage the viewer.

Casting: The lead actor was chosen for their dynamic presence and ability to perform in high-adrenaline scenes, while also delivering a relatable personality to appeal to Mahindra’s audience.

Technology Development: The AI selfie feature was developed in collaboration with a tech partner, ensuring the smooth and accurate replacement of the actor's face with a viewer's selfie.

Production:

Stunt Filming: The tractor was put through a series of stunts, including sharp turns, jumps, and rough terrain drives. The action was filmed with a combination of drone shots and close-ups, ensuring the tractor’s strength and versatility were front and centre.

AI Integration: The AI selfie feature was filmed using CGI, with the actor's face digitally replaced with a generic placeholder face during the stunt sequences, allowing viewers to easily insert their own faces in post-production.

Cinematography: The cinematography focused on wide shots for the stunts and tight close-ups for the AI feature interaction, using dynamic camera angles to intensify the action.
