Simpl needed a motion graphics film that explains its pay-later checkout in one sitting.
People meeting Simpl for the first time had to get it straight away: tap, buy, pay later, one clear bill.
The idea
Show the checkout, not the jargon.
Four ideas, one after another: 1-tap checkout, payments without the hassle, a bill you can actually read, and a smoother way to buy. Built in Simpl's own colours and rounded shapes, with friendly illustrations and phone screens that feel like the real app.
The making
A clean, UI-led look and simple illustrations kept it relatable for digital-first users.
The story is cut into short beats, one feature each, so nothing piles up. Smooth transitions and a little bounce in the motion carry the whole point: simple, quick, no friction.
The hard part
- Four features, short running time. Checkout, pay later, reminders and a transparent bill, without losing anyone.
- A finance product that's fun to watch. Payments aren't anyone's favourite subject. The motion had to do the charming.
